WELCOME
Welcome to the 2012/13 Westward Cross Country League. We recently held our AGM and notes have been circulated.
With this letter you should find a revised set of rules and a new constitution. Please make all your athletes aware of these rule changes. You will also find a list of fixtures and venues. We are very grateful to the clubs who organise events and please remind everyone of the need to respect the facilities at each of the venues.
We will be sending out a copy of the clubs veterans lists from last year, please make the necessary amendments and return to us together with the names of any U17 ladies you may have. We also need the registration fee plus your best estimate of athlete fees.
Can you also complete the registration form so that we can be sure we have your details correct.
We are very grateful for the continued sponsorship of Brooks, please make sure you publicise their name in any press reports. We are also being assisted once again this year by Ironbridge Runner. They are again hosting the website where all details of fixtures and results can be seen. We are continuing with an U11 development race at each fixture which is open to all athletes from 8 to 11. This does not score in the league but is a very good introduction to cross country running. There is no charge for the U11 athletes.
We hope that it will be a successful season for all of us and we look forward to seeing you in October at the first fixture

Fees
The entrance fee of £40 (increased fee) per Club/Organisation should be made payable to Westward Winter League and forwarded to Jayne Reed (see above for address) prior to the commencement of the season together with an advance payment towards athlete race fees (see below).more...
